The software is working perfectly, we have received no calls complaining about the board and the on-air look,
so I'd say it is a great success.
TVCOGECO run the computer output through a Microjack that converts the computer
(VGA?) output to a NTSC television signal that they can use. Then run
through a Time Base Corrector (TBC) that syncs that signal for use with
a video switcher. The combination of the color selections you have installed
for the words BINGO, and the fact that TVCOGECO can tweak the colors with the
TBC... TVCOGECO have been changing the BINGO color to match the color of the cards
being played that evening.
TVCOGECO run Knights of Columbus TV Bingo on our channel. TVCOGECO are a cable company
and only cable subscribers get that channel. TVCOGECO have about 27,000
subscribers in a city of about 69,000.
As the Community Channel, time and production facilities are provided free for
the Knights. It's a method of supporting a non-profit organization and
assist their fundraising.
